Trailer Hire with Newton

Newton hires the full range of bulkers, aggregates, bulk blowers and walking floors. We currently maintain a hire fleet of 85 tipping trailers and 10 walking floors.

Why would I want to hire a trailer from Newton?

Newton hires to people for as short a period as a week or as long as 5 years. Our customers hire to cover increased demand - such as the sugar beet campaign or harvest. Others hire to trial a new contract or to bridge a gap whilst their trailer is off the road. Others simply because they like us.

What will my hire trailer be like?

Our trailers are checked through our own workshops before each hire. We try and keep our hire trailers fresh - all under 3 years old.

A typical trailer for sugar beet would be a 44 Tonne compliant Fruehauf 66 cubic yard triaxle on full air, lift axle, roll over sheet, and PM on Board weighing system weighing 6295kgs. Therefore you should achieve a payload in excess of 29.5 tonnes.

What are your terms?

One week minimum. One week notice of return of trailer. Sign the contract.

Newton

• We stand tyres - with the exception of punctures and blowouts.
• We pay for maintenance, brakes, running gear.
• We provide a good clean legal trailer.

You

• Pay for damage to the trailer.
• Pay for punctures and blowouts.
• Insure the trailer for all risks.
• Pay for 6 weekly inspections.
• Pay returnable deposit prior to collection of trailer.
• Collect and return trailer to Newton Commercials Limited.
• Tell us what products you are carrying.

How Much Do I Pay?

You pay more for short term hire and less for a long term hire. Typically a bulker is £225 for first week running to £195 for long term over 4 months. Payment month in advance. Rates are negotiable so contact us. Should you want very long term hire we are happy to paint the trailer in your colours and discuss maintenance packages and rental pricing.

Why Don't You Hire Old Trailers at Cheaper Rates?

Old dogs keep us poor and upset our customers and will in turn upset your customers. Believe us we have the T shirt! If a job is worth doing - do it well.

Availability

Usually we can supply you a hire trailer within 2 days or sooner - this can of course vary with demand.

Can I Hire a Trailer and then Buy It?

Yes. A typical structure might be a six month hire at £225.00 per week plus VAT with a £50.00 per week rebate back to you when you buy. Contact us for details.
