Following our 'Horses for courses' philosophy and plugging the gap between our BIOMASS and RECYCLING specs, this trailer has been carefully specifed for the transport of Biomass, light waste & recycling products. While it will cope significantly better with harsh loading practices, the tare weight is just 8800kgs with manual sheet keeping your payload potential as high as possible.

It features all the Heavy Duty spec items from the RECYCLING spec Knapen and combines them with a 15 x 10mm Cargoofloor system and smaller wear plates to the sidewalls.

This trailer is built to withstand heavier use - the chassis and sidewall construction is proven in the Eastern European waste sector at 55 tonnes. Knapen - who make over 30 trailers per week are the largest constructor in Europe. You can learn things over 30 years in Latvia, Poland, Russia etc. Bad roads and bad use.

Whilst optimised for tipping on hard standing sufaces (MRF facilities, incinerator plants, modern landfill sites)  the uprated spec means it can handle to occasional trip on the pile if required, though not recommended for everyday work on the landfill (we do the TITAN walking floor option for that).

The main feature that will appeal to most is the Heavy duty steel box section that covers all four sides of the box as these are the areas of the trailer that take the most abuse. This HD protection is bolted on, braced at all 4 corners and in the centre with a HD tie bar and can take those knocks that inevitably come from loading shovels. It will dent up and mark but it can be easily cut out and replaced without breaking down the trailer itself. If 130 cuyd is not enough for you we can build 140 cuyd and 150 cuyd variants to this. Too heavy for you then choose the BIOMASS spec Knapen. Too light for you then choose the TITAN Armageddon specification trailer.
