A ribsider is a method of trailer construction which is very old. Take flat sheet and press into ribs and then apply it to more flat sheets with meters of weld until you get a box shape. Repeat until bored. Some people for no good reason called this a monocoque shape which it is not. Can also be U shaped aka Bathtub shape for the obvious reason it looks like an old cast iron bathtub.
