This is the fabricated bolted on steel wiper or scraper that sits in front of the welded on outer cover plate that sits on the welded plate. The outer nut clamps onto the front side of this plate.
This forms part of the steel reinforcement steel sandwich that holds the Ejector Blade in place.
It is very important to torque the outer nut correctly and check weekly. Any waggle will create deformation of these reinforcement.
