The Wilcox Tailboard Door Seal is a replacement D-profile rubber seal designed for use around the rear tailboard or door of compatible Wilcox tipping trailers and rigid tipper bodies.
The seal fits between the tailboard and the surrounding body or door frame. When the tailboard is closed, the rounded D-shaped section compresses to help close the gap between the two surfaces. This creates a more effective seal around the rear door and helps prevent loose material, dust and fine debris from escaping while the vehicle is travelling.
It can also help reduce the entry of rainwater, road spray and dirt into the trailer body through gaps around the tailboard.
