The Lightest Steel Body Trailer in the UK Market
90 cuyd - this is our larger variant (most people purchase the 75 cu yd - but if you like it your way this is the large one)
5 mm Hardox Floor - 500 Hb - Hardness Brinnell - very hard steel - the floor is fitted as one length with no joins for strength
4/3 mm Hardox Side Laser cut and laser welded construction. The side is fitted as one length no joins between panels - for strength. 4mm for the lower two thirds of the side, 3 mm for the upper section
Ribs - Hardox - for strength - one of the many reasons the LUCK works and the others do not.
50:50 Split Barn Doors - with additional automatic door lock for driver protection. Driver stands clear and releases door from an air switch
5 hinges per door - for strength
Hardox Doors - no we do not drop to cheaper steel on the doors

Benefit of Buying This Trailer
There has been an evolution in steel body construction and this is really the leading edge of that evolution. Newton have been searching, trying, evolving this trailer type since 2007. This trailer weighs 8.2 tonnes without compromise. We can even make variants of same volume down to 7.6 tonnes but then you will need to be more cautious in the operations.
This trailer uses full Swedish steel in floor, sides, toprail, ribs, front headboard and door. It even uses it in the chassis construction. The advantage of these steels is their extreme hardness. However hardness makes the material difficult to bend and form and work with. Luck press and use up to 12.5 meter lengths of Hardox steel and press and form it into shapes. Few others have this technology. Luck laser cut the material and even laser weld it. This produces hundreds of meters LESS welding in the trailer than the UK competition.
