SAF Axle Pivot Adjusting Flanged Washer.
Fits on the nut head side.
This heavy-duty flanged washer forms part of the SAF axle pivot mounting and alignment assembly. It is fitted at the suspension pivot connection and is used when setting and maintaining the correct axle tracking position within the suspension hanger.
Correct axle alignment is important for maintaining stable trailer handling and helping prevent excessive or uneven tyre wear. The track washer works together with the axle pivot bolt, pivot bush, hanger and associated fastening components to securely locate the suspension arm once the axle position has been correctly set.
