This hose connects the tyre valve to the hub nut cover joint
TPMS and or TPRS Revision 30 became a legal requirement in the EU on trailers from July 2024 as part of homologation requirements. As of July 2024 it is ambiguous whether TPMS will become a UK requirement.
To achieve safe tipping trailer operations it is imperative that the tyres on the trailer are at correct legal pressures. Even small differences can create a hazard whilst tipping. In extreme situations the rear axle is receiving extreme forces and the tyres should be at 9 bar pressure or else they will deform incorrectly and provide a greater chance of instability and tip over.
