BPW has optimised its ECO Air spring U-bolts and has implemented this upgrade and extended spring U-bolt by 5 mm as part of a product enhancement process (see News Aftermarket 2022-03). As an additional step in the current product enhancement process, the air bag beams will be thickened up by 5 mm at the drilling area. This version will be gradually introduced from Q2/2022. Please note: The new generation of air bag beams should only be assembled by using the new spring U-bolts that have been extended by 5 mm (N0980109450). Assembling the new air bag beams with the old spring U-bolts (N0980109030) is not permitted. To prevent vehicle breakdown, we recommend not to mix possible existing Components on stock.
